Learn to make pottery without a wheel as you explore hand-building techniques. Get hands-on with slabs to create bowls, cups, and planters in both organic and traditional forms.

TASTE THE RAINBOW: INTRO TO GLAZING

Explore different types of cone 6 glazes and learn the science behind how they work. This beginner-friendly class covers celadons, underglazes, and versatile paintable glazes.
$200
Class fee includes glaze, kiln firings, and 6 pieces of pottery per student to glaze.
*Students are encouraged to bring their own work to glaze (mid-range clay only) but not required.

THROWING WITH THE HEART, NOT THE HEAD

This mindful level 1 throwing workshop uses a wellness based approach at the pottery wheel. Be prepared to let go of expectations and dive into a meditative and sensory experience while learning to throw. Taught by therapist and potter, Sarah Atchison.

MINDFUL POTTERY

Combine intermediate throwing with guided stress reduction for a grounding, wheel-centered experience. Rather than focusing on technique, the emphasis here is on process, presence, play. Led by therapist and potter, Sarah Atchison. Bonus: We clean the wheels at the end so you don’t have to.

Learn the art of Kintsugi (mending broken pottery with gold) from visiting instructor Jen Lo. Reserve your space early for this popular workshop.

Class fee includes a Kintsugi repair kit (enough for multiple pieces) and a bowl made by Jen Lo, to break, repair, and keep.
